Number of posts
Posts = sections + 1 for a straight run. With 13 sections: 14 posts. Each gate adds 2 end posts.
Rails needed
Rails = sections × rails per section. 13 sections with 2 rails each: 13 × 2 = 26 rails. Each rail is typically 8-12 ft long.
